We’re delighted to welcome Hannah Vaughan to the TCUK coaching team for 2020.

Hannah has been a successful TCUK athlete for several years and recently qualified for the IM70.3 World Championships in Taupo, New Zealand next November. When she’s not training, you might find Hannah in the cockpit of an Airbus A320 flying you somewhere in the world since she’s a pilot with British Airways!

Taking on the challenge of a full distance triathlon is hard enough when you work 9-5 and have access to thousands of miles of open roads, trails and a local swimming pool. But how do you go about it when you live on the Shetland Islands and your full-time job is a production technician on an oil rig?

This delicious fish-based dish from Jon at Real Food Func is perfect as a post training meal since it is high in protein and carbohydrate. It's also packed with veg too.

You can also change the flavours around on the marinade if you don’t like soy sauce to include something like honey, garlic, ginger and lime.

Turning 40 proved to be a turning point in #TeamTCUK athlete, Sandra Hunter's triathlon career: she decided to celebrate her birthday milestone by entering her first ever full distance triathlon - Ironman Switzerland. Getting her goggles knocked off in the swim, feeling like a pro on Heartbreak Hill, perfecting a new skill on lap 2 of the bike course and smashing through the marathon in just over four hours, Sandra finished a fanastic 6th in her age group!
